Our story begins with Bo’s father Charles “CV” Van Sanders Sr. who began baking in the 1940s. He was a baker his entire life. He worked in a bakery in Leesville, Louisiana until December 1948 when he moved to Mansfield, Louisiana because the Ruffin Brothers asked him to open a bakery in their store.
I’m writing this review because these cookies are THE BEST sugar cookies we’ve ever had. I normally think of ----------- sugar cookies as being the best on the planet, but these are so much better than those. My exact words were: ‘Holy crap these are the best sugar cookies I’ve ever had.’”

These were amazing! They didn't crumble everywhere and tasted perfect with a fresh cup of hot chocolate. The thickness and texture made if feel like a special treat. Well worth it and definitely want to get more.

These cookies are so delicious and should be against the law because I'm addicted!!!! I've eaten them for breakfast, had them with lunch, skipped dinner and had a cookie. They are amazing!

These cookies are not only pretty to look at, they are absolutely delicious. They taste like the BEST old fashioned homemade cookie you remember eating when you were a child. Trust me, these are not your everyday sugar cookies. We've had their beautiful Christmas cookies and now these gorgeous Mardi Gras cookies. If you are looking for something special to decorate your Mardi Gras party table with, get these cookies while they last.

My husband said to tell you that those were the best sugar cookies he has ever had! Even better than his mother's! That's the highest compliment!
